Salsa 123 – the Zürich dance studio – was founded in early 2000 by Rodolfo Caro-Müller, the current head of the school. He gained his first dance experiences as a member of various folk dance groups in Peru and Switzerland. He completed the necessary training for his professional career at the state-recognized Fachhochschule Stuttgart. Before that, he was trained as sports teacher.
Many years of teaching and versatile show engagements with various partners complete his profile.
The teaching method and the well-founded teaching process of the Salsa 123 allow everyone, no matter what conditions they bring, to learn to dance successfully. The method was further developed and refined during the teaching process.
In 2014 the dance studio was honored by the new Pedagogic University in Zurich as the best salsa dance school in Switzerland.
Salsa123 is a meeting place for people from different countries of origin. The school is a big family. Within this family you can find friends, fun and extend your dancing network.
“Salsa means for us to make friends and have fun. We gladly accompany our students and help them to get to know the Latin American joie de vivre. I call my school “the salsa family,” says Rodolfo. “For us, salsa is sabor, amistad, latino, suave, and artistico.
Today Rodolfo Caro-Müller and his team offer salsa courses for different levels and ages in several languages (German, Spanish, English and French) at different locations in Zurich.
